As Minnehaha Creek winds its way
through Minneapolis to the Mississippi River, it takes its last hoorah by
cascading over the majestic 53-foot Minnehaha Falls, one of the most visited
attractions in Minnesota. The name “Minnehaha” means “waterfall” in the Dakota
Language. In addition to the falls, enjoy a family hike along the creek below
the falls to the Mississippi River, then refuel with some great seafood from the
Sea Salt Eatery located at the top of the falls (open April-October). |
